Alders Drives In Four As the Dubois County Bombers Defeat the Fulton Railroaders, 5-2


Alex Alders drove in four on three hits to lead the Dubois County Bombers past the Fulton Railroaders 5-2 on Saturday. Alders drove in runs on a home run in the third and a home run in the fifth.

Cole Berry earned the win for Dubois County. He went five and a third innings, giving up one run, three hits, and striking out nine. Three relievers helped the Bombers close out the victory. Brandon Smith threw one and two-thirds innings. Logan Moseley recorded the last three outs to earn the save for the Bombers. Noah Stern took the loss for Fulton. He threw five innings, allowing four runs, six hits, and striking out seven.

Dubois County had nine hits in the game. Alex Alders and Craig Shepherd each collected multiple hits for the Bombers.

The Railroaders collected seven hits. Jake Wikel and Zell Walker each collected multiple hits for Fulton.
