Dubois County Bombers Blows Out Fulton Railroaders

Dubois County Bombers won big over Fulton Railroaders 13-5 on Sunday.

Fulton Railroaders opened up an early lead in the second inning when an error scored two runs for Fulton Railroaders.

After Fulton Railroaders scored one run in the top of the seventh, Dubois County Bombers answered with one of their own.

Fulton Railroaders scored when Landon Ezzell doubled on a 0-2 count, scoring one run. Dubois County Bombers then answered when Evan Kahre's sac fly scored one run for Dubois County Bombers.

Dubois County Bombers took the lead for good with one run in the fourth inning. In the fourth Matt Joslin grounded out, scoring one run.

Dubois County Bombers put up five runs in the sixth inning. The big inning was thanks to a sac fly by Austin Duffy, an error on a ball put in play by Zuriel Collins, and a double by Easton Stewart.

Thomas King took the win for Dubois County Bombers. He went three innings, allowing one run on three hits and striking out one. Samuel Steimel, Benton McGill, and Tim Rogers all put in work in relief out of the bullpen, steering their team towards the victory.

Ryan Middleton took the loss for Fulton Railroaders. He surrendered four runs on four hits over two and two-thirds innings, striking out three.

Andrew Schimmoler started the game for Dubois County Bombers. He lasted three innings, allowing zero hits and three runs while striking out five.

Dubois County Bombers tallied one home run on the day. Joslin went deep in the third inning.

Dubois County Bombers tallied 13 hits on the day. Stewart, Chase Hug, Kahre, Joslin, and Bryson McNay each racked up multiple hits for Dubois County Bombers. Stewart led Dubois County Bombers with three hits in five at bats.

Fulton Railroaders racked up nine hits in the game. Sam Vomhof and Ezzell all collected multiple hits for Fulton Railroaders.
