​Dubois County Bombers Grabs Lead In Eighth Inning To Defeat Henderson Flash

Dubois County Bombers stole the lead late and defeated Henderson Flash 4-2 on Thursday. The game was tied at two with Dubois County Bombers batting in the bottom of the eighth when Matthew Craven induced Marcus Hill to hit into a fielder's choice, but one run scored.

Henderson Flash got things started in the first inning. Trey Hutchinson grounded out, scoring one run.

In the top of the fifth inning, Henderson Flash tied things up at two. Justen Freeman singled on a 2-1 count, scoring one run.
Brennan LaBarbera pitched Dubois County Bombers to victory. He lasted one inning, allowing one hit and zero runs while walking one. Devin Morris and Thomas King entered the game out of the bullpen and helped to close out the game in relief. Morris recorded the last three outs to earn the save for Dubois County Bombers.

Mason White took the loss for Henderson Flash. He went one inning, allowing one run on one hit, striking out one and walking zero.

Benton McGill started the game for Dubois County Bombers. He surrendered two runs on seven hits over six innings, striking out four Garrett Simpson started the game for Henderson Flash. He surrendered two runs on six hits over six innings, striking out five and walking one.

Dubois County Bombers tallied eight hits. Hill and Matt Joslin all managed multiple hits for Dubois County Bombers. Joslin and Hill each collected two hits to lead Dubois County Bombers.

Henderson Flash collected eight hits on the day. Freeman and Austin Domer each racked up multiple hits for Henderson Flash.
