Dubois County Bombers Overcomes Muhlenberg County Stallions In Face Of Early 3-Run Inning

Muhlenberg County Stallions scored three runs in the third inning, but Dubois County Bombers still won 7-5 on Thursday. Luke Price and Jackson Little all moved runners across the plate with RBIs in the inning.

Dubois County Bombers opened up scoring in the first inning, when Chase Hug singled on a 0-1 count, scoring one run.
Dubois County Bombers took the lead for good with two runs in the fourth inning. In the fourth Tyler Best grounded out, scoring one run and Hug grounded out, scoring one run.

Bennett Shoptaw earned the victory on the mound for Dubois County Bombers. He surrendered zero runs on one hit over two and a third innings, striking out one and walking one. Nick Parrish threw two innings in relief out of the bullpen. Parrish recorded the last six outs to earn the save for Dubois County Bombers.

Trey Boren took the loss for Muhlenberg County Stallions. He lasted four innings, allowing six hits and six runs while striking out four.

Samuel Steimel started the game for Dubois County Bombers. He allowed five hits and five runs over two and two-thirds innings, striking out one.
