​Five RBI Day For Jake Edwards Leads Muhlenberg County Stallions Past Franklin Duelers

Jake Edwards was clutch at the plate with runners on base on Wednesday, driving in five on three hits to lead Muhlenberg County Stallions past Franklin Duelers 17-3 on Wednesday. Edwards drove in runs on a single in the first, a double in the third, a walk in the fourth, and a single in the fifth.

Muhlenberg County Stallions got on the board in the first inning when Luke Kuester doubled on the first pitch of the at bat, scoring one run.

Allen Howe earned the win for Muhlenberg County Stallions. He went seven innings, allowing three runs on three hits, striking out five and walking one.

Kyle Nunn took the loss for Franklin Duelers. He lasted two innings, allowing five hits and six runs while striking out two.
Muhlenberg County Stallions launched two home runs on the day. Tucker Jordan went yard in the sixth inning. Jackson Little had a long ball in the fifth inning.

Muhlenberg County Stallions racked up 15 hits. Edwards, Anthony Hennings, Reece Puckett, Kuester, Adrian Minjares, and Jordan all managed multiple hits for Muhlenberg County Stallions. Edwards went 3-for-3 at the plate to lead Muhlenberg County Stallions in hits.

Franklin Duelers was sure-handed in the field and didn't commit a single error. Tim Blankenberger had the most chances in the field with nine.
