Four RBI Day For Bailey Falkenstein Seals The Deal In Owensboro RiverDawgs's Victory Over Fulton Rai


Bailey Falkenstein drove in four on three hits to lead Owensboro RiverDawgs past Fulton Railroaders 13-2 on Thursday.

Falkenstein drove in runs on a single in the first, a double in the fourth, and a walk in the sixth.

Owensboro RiverDawgs got things started in the first inning. Owensboro RiverDawgs scored one run when Falkenstein singled.
Owensboro RiverDawgs notched five runs in the fourth inning. Owensboro RiverDawgs put the pressure on, lead by doubles by Falkenstein, Ian Ellis, and Nick Sanders.

Mathew Pigg was the winning pitcher for Owensboro RiverDawgs. He surrendered two runs on four hits over six innings, striking out four and walking one. Grant Smith threw one inning in relief out of the bullpen.

Drew Kirby took the loss for Fulton Railroaders. He went three innings, allowing six runs on four hits and striking out six.

Owensboro RiverDawgs saw the ball well today, racking up 12 hits in the game. Sanders, Falkenstein, Ellis, and Josh Bennett each managed multiple hits for Owensboro RiverDawgs. Falkenstein and Sanders each collected three hits to lead Owensboro RiverDawgs. Owensboro RiverDawgs stole six bases during the game as two players stole more than one. Jacob White led the way with three.
