Four RBI Day For Robby Zanardelli Seals The Deal In Franklin Duelers's Victory Over Fulton Railroade


Robby Zanardelli showed timely hitting on Saturday, driving in four on two hits to lead Franklin Duelers past Fulton Railroaders 16-6 on Saturday. Zanardelli drove in runs on a grand slam in the fourth.

Franklin Duelers earned the victory despite allowing Fulton Railroaders to score five runs in the seventh inning. Fulton Railroaders's big inning was driven by singles by Keshaun Mays and Luke McKenzie and a double by Landon Ezzell.
Franklin Duelers opened up scoring in the second inning. Travis Faix hit a solo homer.

Franklin Duelers notched seven runs in the fourth inning. Tim Blankenberger, Orlando Arevalo, Daniel O'Reilly, and Zanardelli all drove in runs in the frame.

Trevor Beards led things off on the pitcher's mound for Franklin Duelers. He allowed two hits and one run over six innings, striking out six and walking one.

Tanner Stinnett toed the rubber for Fulton Railroaders. He lasted three and two-thirds innings, allowing eight hits and nine runs while striking out five. Bennett Christensen and Chance Forbes entered the game from the bullpen, throwing two innings and one-third of an inning respectively.

Franklin Duelers socked two home runs on the day. Faix had a homer in the second inning. Zanardelli put one out in the fourth inning.

Franklin Duelers tallied 16 hits on the day. Joey Fletcher, Arevalo, Ethan Shelton, and Zanardelli all collected multiple hits for Franklin Duelers. Fletcher led Franklin Duelers with four hits in four at bats.

Mays went 2-for-3 at the plate to lead Fulton Railroaders in hits.
