Fulton Railroaders Beats Madisonville Miners, 8-3


Fulton Railroaders was victorious over Madisonville Miners, 8-3.

In the top of the fourth inning, Madisonville Miners tied things up at two when Michael Sookdeo homered on a 3-2 count, scoring two runs.

Fulton Railroaders pulled away for good with two runs in the fifth inning. In the fifth Luke McKenzie doubled on a 2-2 count, scoring one run and Davis Lott singled on the first pitch of the at bat, scoring one run.

Fulton Railroaders scored three runs in the eighth inning. O’Neil Burgos and Reid Rector each had RBIs in the big inning.
Bennett Christensen took the win for Fulton Railroaders. He surrendered zero runs on one hit over three innings, striking out four and walking zero. Britt Netterville threw two innings in relief out of the bullpen.

Ryan White took the loss for Madisonville Miners. He allowed five hits and four runs over three innings, striking out three.
Tanner Stinnett started the game for Fulton Railroaders. He surrendered two runs on five hits over four innings, striking out nine Trevor Smith started the game for Madisonville Miners. He lasted two innings, allowing zero hits and zero runs while striking out two and walking one.

Fulton Railroaders smacked one home run on the day. McKenzie had a dinger in the third inning.

Fulton Railroaders tallied 12 hits in the game. Sam Gallimore, McKenzie, and Rector each had multiple hits for Fulton Railroaders. Gallimore went 3-for-3 at the plate to lead Fulton Railroaders in hits.

Ben Teel led Madisonville Miners with two hits in five at bats.
