Fulton Railroaders's High Score Not Enough To Secure Win Against Owensboro RiverDawgs

Both Owensboro RiverDawgs and Fulton Railroaders had their offenses going on Thursday, but Fulton Railroaders eventually succumbed 15-7 in the high-scoring affair.

The Fulton Railroaders struggled to put runs on the board and had a tough time defensively containing Owensboro RiverDawgs, giving up 15 runs.

Fulton Railroaders took an early lead in the second inning. Nathan Bynum doubled on a 1-1 count, scoring one run.

Owensboro RiverDawgs took the lead for good with four runs in the third inning. In the third Michael Wymann doubled on the first pitch of the at bat, scoring one run, Jacob White doubled on a 2-1 count, scoring two runs, and an error scored one run for Owensboro RiverDawgs.

Fulton Railroaders scored three runs in the fifth inning. The offensive onslaught came from singles by Bynum and Chance Foss.

Owensboro RiverDawgs scored five runs in the sixth inning. Owensboro RiverDawgs's big inning was driven by walks by Parker Stahlman, Kyle Hogwood, and Kirk Liebert, a single by Josh Bennett, and by Ian Ellis.

Caleb Dubois took the win for Owensboro RiverDawgs. He surrendered three runs on three hits over one inning, striking out one and walking zero. Bo Robison threw two innings in relief out of the bullpen.

Tyler Bell took the loss for Fulton Railroaders. He lasted one-third of an inning, allowing one hit and three runs while walking one.

Cameron Harvey started the game for Owensboro RiverDawgs. He lasted four innings, allowing four hits and two runs while striking out four Drew Kirby started the game for Fulton Railroaders. He lasted four innings, allowing seven hits and six runs while striking out eight.

Owensboro RiverDawgs socked two home runs on the day. Bennett went for the long ball in the second inning. Hogwood had a dinger in the fifth inning.

Bynum led Fulton Railroaders with three hits in four at bats.

Owensboro RiverDawgs collected ten hits. Wymann, White, and Bennett all collected multiple hits for Owensboro RiverDawgs.
