Hagedorn’s strong effort pushes the Dubois County Bombers to the Semi-Finals


The Dubois County Bombers blew out the Fulton Railroaders 8-1 on Sunday.

Dubois County took the lead for good with three runs in the third inning. In the third Andrew Tanous singled off of William Seewer, driving in one run and Camdon Mercier singled off of Seewer, driving in two runs.

The Bombers scored three runs in the eighth inning. The big inning was thanks to a single by Bryce Krizan and a single by Jordan Libman.

Tyler Hagedorn earned the win for Dubois County. He went nine innings, giving up one run, six hits, and striking out eight. Seewer took the loss for Fulton. He tossed six and a third innings, giving up five runs, nine hits, striking out three, and walking one.

The Bombers had 13 hits in the game. Krizan, Tanous, Jaxson Blair, Roman Trujillo, and Libman each collected multiple hits for Dubois County. Libman led the Bombers with four runs batted in. He went 2-for-4 on the day. Dubois County didn't commit a single error in the field.

The Railroaders collected six hits. Owen Parsons and Jake Wikel each collected multiple hits for Fulton.
