Henderson Flash Grabs Lead In Fourth Inning To Defeat Fulton Railroaders


Henderson Flash nabbed the lead late in the game in an 8-5 victory over Fulton Railroaders on Sunday. With two outs in the bottom of the fourth an error scored two runs for Henderson Flash.

Fulton Railroaders scored three runs in the first inning, but Henderson Flash still managed to pull out the victory. Luke McKenzie, Ian Drays, and Britt Netterville all contributed in the big inning with RBIs.

Henderson Flash captured the lead in the first inning. Henderson Flash scored one run when Derek Wagner singled.

In the top of the second inning, Fulton Railroaders tied things up at five. O’Neil Burgos singled on a 1-2 count, scoring one run.

Bryce Thomas was credited with the victory for Henderson Flash. He allowed zero hits and zero runs over three innings, striking out three.

Keshaun Mays took the loss for Fulton Railroaders. He lasted one and two-thirds innings, allowing five hits and five runs while striking out two.

Cam Chapman started the game for Henderson Flash. He lasted two innings, allowing seven hits and five runs while striking out two.

Fulton Railroaders smacked two home runs on the day. Sam Gallimore had a homer in the second inning. McKenzie had a dinger in the first inning.

Trevor Campbell, Mason White, Gunner Smith, Wagner, Noah Brown, Josh Johnston, Austin Domer, Brandon Boxer, and Trey Hutchison each collected one hit to lead Henderson Flash. Henderson Flash was sure-handed in the field and didn't commit a single error. Boxer had the most chances in the field with five.

Burgos went 2-for-3 at the plate to lead Fulton Railroaders in hits.
