Henderson Flash Grabs Lead In Seventh Inning For Victory Over Franklin Duelers


Henderson Flash snatched the lead late in the game in a 10-9 victory over Franklin Duelers on Saturday. Henderson Flash trailed 9-8 in the bottom of the seventh inning when Henderson Flash scored on a stolen base during Noah Brown's at bat. Then Brown singled , driving in one.

Both offenses were strong at the plate as Henderson Flash collected nine hits and Franklin Duelers seven in the high-scoring affair.

Henderson Flash got on the board in the first inning. Trey Hutchison singled on the first pitch of the at bat, scoring one run.
Henderson Flash scored four runs in the fifth inning. Henderson Flash offense in the inning was led by Josh Johnston and Hutchison, who each had RBIs in the inning.

Franklin Duelers scored three runs in the fifth inning. Franklin Duelers scored its runs on a fielder's choice by Tyler Estes.
Bryce Thomas pitched Henderson Flash to victory. He allowed zero hits and zero runs over one and two-thirds innings, striking out four and walking one. A number of pitchers entered the game as relief, with Jon Cato, Miller McMatheren, Jake Murdach, and Mason White all securing outs and ultimately the victory.

Trevor Beards started the game for Franklin Duelers. He surrendered six runs on five hits over four innings, striking out three. Mikey Clements and Trejen Birdwell entered the game as relief, throwing two innings and two innings respectively.

Evan Payne started the game for Henderson Flash. He lasted three innings, allowing six hits and five runs while striking out three.

Henderson Flash smacked three home runs on the day. Johnston had a dinger in the third inning. Hutchison had a four bagger in the fifth inning. Trevor Campbell went yard in the second inning.
