Madisonville Miners Takes Victory In High-Scoring Game Over Fulton Railroaders, 9-6

Both Madisonville Miners and Fulton Railroaders had their offenses going on Wednesday, but Madisonville Miners eventually prevailed 9-6.

Fulton Railroaders captured the lead in the second inning. Chance Foss drew a walk, scoring one run.

Madisonville Miners took the lead for good with one run in the fifth inning. In the fifth Michael Sookdeo singled on a 0-1 count, scoring one run.

Madisonville Miners put up three runs in the third inning. Madisonville Miners batters contributing to the big inning included Mason Libla and Shayne Lyons, who each had RBIs in the inning.

Ryan White took the win for Madisonville Miners. He allowed three hits and two runs over two innings, striking out two. Adam Weining threw three innings in relief out of the bullpen. Weining recorded the last nine outs to earn the save for Madisonville Miners.

Will Pratt took the loss for Fulton Railroaders. He went three and two-thirds innings, allowing three runs on four hits, striking out three and walking one.

Griffin Lape started the game for Madisonville Miners. He surrendered four runs on three hits over four innings, striking out five Tanner Stinnett started the game for Fulton Railroaders. He lasted four innings, allowing five hits and six runs while striking out three.

Madisonville Miners collected nine hits on the day. Colton Olasin, Jacob Council, and Sookdeo all managed multiple hits for Madisonville Miners. Sookdeo, Council, and Olasin each managed two hits to lead Madisonville Miners.

Britt Netterville went 2-for-5 at the plate to lead Fulton Railroaders in hits.
