Muhlenberg County Stallions Can't Catch Up To Henderson Flash

Muhlenberg County Stallions watched the game slip away early and couldn't recover in a 14-1 loss to Henderson Flash on Friday. Henderson Flash scored on a single by Justen Freeman and a sacrifice fly by Robert Sproul in the first inning.

The Muhlenberg County Stallions struggled to put runs on the board and had a tough time defensively containing Henderson Flash, giving up 14 runs.

Henderson Flash got things moving in the first inning. Freeman drove in one when he singled.

Henderson Flash scored six runs in the third inning. Henderson Flash's big inning was driven by singles by Sproul and Gannon Goldensoph, a triple by Mason White, and a double by Bryce Thomas.

Jon Cato led the Henderson Flash to victory on the pitcher's mound. He lasted six and a third innings, allowing three hits and one run while striking out five and walking one. Ty Ramey threw two-thirds of an inning in relief out of the bullpen.

Noah Graham took the loss for Muhlenberg County Stallions. He surrendered eight runs on nine hits over three innings, striking out three.

Will Myers, Tucker Jordan, and Cal Johnston each collected one hit to lead Muhlenberg County Stallions.

Henderson Flash racked up 17 hits. Thomas, Josh Johnston, Sproul, Freeman, and Trevor Campbell each collected multiple hits for Henderson Flash. Thomas led Henderson Flash with four hits in four at bats. Henderson Flash was sure-handed in the field and didn't commit a single error. Goldensoph had the most chances in the field with seven.
