Muhlenberg County Stallions Claims Victory Over Dubois County Bombers


Muhlenberg County Stallions beat Dubois County Bombers 7-3 on Thursday.

Muhlenberg County Stallions pulled away for good with three runs in the fifth inning. In the fifth Hunter Combs's sac fly scored two runs for Muhlenberg County Stallions.

Muhlenberg County Stallions tallied three runs in the eighth inning. Muhlenberg County Stallions put the pressure on, lead by a walk by Seth Taylor, a groundout by Jordan Adesi, and a double by Tucker Jordan.

Allen Howe led the Muhlenberg County Stallions to victory on the mound. He allowed five hits and one run over four and two-thirds innings, striking out five and walking one.

Patrick Queener took the loss for Dubois County Bombers. He lasted four innings, allowing two hits and three runs while striking out four.

Trey Boren started the game for Muhlenberg County Stallions. He lasted four and a third innings, allowing one hit and two runs while striking out four.

Adesi, Anthony Hennings, Jordan, Will Myers, and Combs each collected one hit to lead Muhlenberg County Stallions.
Easton Stewart went 2-for-3 at the plate to lead Dubois County Bombers in hits.
