Muhlenberg County Stallions Struggles To Find Groove Against Paducah Chiefs

Thursday was a long day for Muhlenberg County Stallions, falling to Paducah Chiefs 11-2.

Paducah Chiefs got things moving in the first inning, when Bryson Bloomer homered on a 1-0 count, scoring two runs.

Muhlenberg County Stallions knotted the game up at two in the bottom of the first inning, when Kody Putnam singled on a 1-2 count, scoring two runs.

Paducah Chiefs pulled away for good with one run in the fifth inning. In the fifth an error scored one run for Paducah Chiefs.

Paducah Chiefs scored six runs in the sixth inning. John Michael Russ, Pierce Mitchum, and Bloomer each had RBIs in the frame.

Brady Bibb was the winning pitcher for Paducah Chiefs. He lasted five innings, allowing six hits and two runs while striking out three. Braden Mork and Eli Campbell entered the game out of the bullpen and helped to close out the game in relief.

Logan King took the loss for Muhlenberg County Stallions. He allowed four hits and seven runs over five and a third innings, striking out three.

Muhlenberg County Stallions totaled seven hits in the game. Reece Puckett and Tad Marks all collected multiple hits for Muhlenberg County Stallions. Puckett went 3-for-4 at the plate to lead Muhlenberg County Stallions in hits.

Paducah Chiefs tallied ten hits. Lofton Pigg, Bloomer, and Braden Durham each managed multiple hits for Paducah Chiefs. Paducah Chiefs didn't commit a single error in the field. Pigg had the most chances in the field with seven.
