​Owensboro RiverDawgs Struggles To Find Groove Against Fulton Railroaders


Wednesday was a long day for Owensboro RiverDawgs, falling to Fulton Railroaders 10-4.

Owensboro RiverDawgs opened up an early lead in the first inning when Michael Wymann singled on a 1-1 count, scoring one run.

Fulton Railroaders took the lead for good with four runs in the fifth inning. In the fifth an error scored one run for Fulton Railroaders and Chance Foss singled on a 2-2 count, scoring two runs.

Brad Webber earned the win for Fulton Railroaders. He went three innings, allowing zero runs on one hit, striking out one and walking one. Tyler Bell threw two innings in relief out of the bullpen.

Caleb Dubois took the loss for Owensboro RiverDawgs. He lasted one inning, allowing five hits and five runs.

Blaine Gillim started the game for Owensboro RiverDawgs. He surrendered one run on two hits over three innings, striking out two Drew Kirby started the game for Fulton Railroaders. He went four innings, allowing four runs on five hits and striking out two.

Wymann led Owensboro RiverDawgs with two hits in four at bats.

Fulton Railroaders saw the ball well today, racking up 14 hits in the game. Landon Ezzell, Sam Vomhof, Ty Wooton, O’Neil Burgos, and Davis Lott all collected multiple hits for Fulton Railroaders. Ezzell went 3-for-6 at the plate to lead Fulton Railroaders in hits.
