Paducah Chiefs Drops Game To Henderson Flash After Late Score

Paducah Chiefs lost the lead late in a 10-8 defeat to Henderson Flash on Saturday. The game was tied at eight with Henderson Flash batting in the top of the tenth when Josh Johnston hit a solo homer.

Paducah Chiefs collected 11 hits and Henderson Flash had 12 in the high-scoring affair.

Paducah Chiefs took an early lead in the third inning. An error scored one run for Paducah Chiefs.

Henderson Flash knotted the game up at eight in the top of the eighth inning, when an error scored one run for Henderson Flash.
Paducah Chiefs notched three runs in the sixth inning. Paducah Chiefs offense in the inning was led by Nick Rucker and Brenton Tidd, all sending runners across the plate with RBIs in the inning.

Henderson Flash scored four runs in the seventh inning. Henderson Flash's big inning was driven by a single by Trevor Campbell and an error on a ball put in play by Charlie Mooneyham.

Jon Cato took the win for Henderson Flash. He allowed two hits and zero runs over two and two-thirds innings, striking out four and walking zero. Braden White, Ty Ramey, and Garrett Simpson all put in work in relief out of the bullpen, steering their team towards the victory. Simpson recorded the last three outs to earn the save for Henderson Flash.

Brady Austin took the loss for Paducah Chiefs. He lasted two and two-thirds innings, allowing four hits and four runs while striking out one.

Sawyer Smallwood started the game for Paducah Chiefs. He lasted five innings, allowing seven hits and two runs while striking out four Tyler Morrison started the game for Henderson Flash. He allowed two hits and three runs over three innings
Henderson Flash socked two home runs on the day. Johnston had a long ball in the tenth inning. Trey Hutchison had a dinger in the third inning.

Paducah Chiefs tallied 11 hits on the day. Lofton Pigg, Drew Hudson, and Bryson Bloomer all managed multiple hits for Paducah Chiefs. Pigg led Paducah Chiefs with three hits in four at bats.

Henderson Flash tallied 12 hits in the game. Johnston, Noah Brown, and Hutchison each managed multiple hits for Henderson Flash.
