Paducah Chiefs Nabs Win Over Muhlenberg County Stallions Despite Early 3-Run Inning

Paducah Chiefs weathered a push by Muhlenberg County Stallions in the seventh inning where Paducah Chiefs coughed up three runs, but Paducah Chiefs still won 13-3 on Friday. The offensive firepower by Muhlenberg County Stallions was led by Adrian Minjares and Peyton Lipe, all knocking in runs in the inning.

Paducah Chiefs secured the victory thanks to eight runs in the sixth inning. Paducah Chiefs big bats were led by Nick Rucker, Alan Roden, John Michael Russ, Carson Shacklett, and Ja'lil Akbar, who each had RBIs in the inning.

Sawyer Smallwood was credited with the victory for Paducah Chiefs. He allowed four hits and three runs over six and a third innings, striking out seven and walking one. Blakeney Kearbey threw two-thirds of an inning in relief out of the bullpen.

Noah Graham took the loss for Muhlenberg County Stallions. He lasted four innings, allowing four hits and two runs while striking out three.

Paducah Chiefs racked up 14 hits in the game. Shacklett, Russ, Rucker, Roden, and Drew Hudson all managed multiple hits for Paducah Chiefs. Russ and Shacklett each managed three hits to lead Paducah Chiefs. Paducah Chiefs was sure-handed in the field and didn't commit a single error. Jacob Hartline had the most chances in the field with nine.
