Railroaders won their third game in a row beating the Flash 14-9


Railroaders 14, Flash 9. (June 10, 2017) The Railroaders won their third game in a row beating the Henderson Flash in Fulton. With only 8 hits total, Fulton took advantage of 12 walks issued by the Flash pitchers to assist in the victory. Henderson doubled Fulton hits with 16 of their own, but stranded 11 on base while the Railroaders left 6 on board.

For Fulton, Andrew Rapoza went 2 for 3 with 4 RBI and scored once. Zell Walker added a homerun for 2 RBI.

Henderson's Aaron Euler was best for the Flash going 3 of 5 with 5 RBI and a homerun. Paul Haupt was 3 for 4 and crossed the plate 3 times.

Jackson South gets the win for Fulton pitching 4 innings in relief of starter Cody Caballero who was pulled after first 4 innings on the mound.

The loss goes to Flash's starter Jordan Kelly for only threw for 1 2/3 innings giving up 5 hits, 7 runs (6 earned), 4 walks and had one strikeout.

The two teams meet again on Sunday in Henderson for the second of the two game series.
