Seth Bennett Drives In Four To Seal Hoptown Hoppers's Victory Over Henderson Flash

Seth Bennett would not be denied at the plate when runners were on base on Thursday, driving in four on three hits to lead Hoptown Hoppers past Henderson Flash 19-5 on Thursday. Bennett drove in runs on a single in the first, a single in the fourth, and a double in the sixth.

Hoptown Hoppers got things moving in the first inning, when Bennett singled on the first pitch of the at bat, scoring one run.
Cam Barlow took the win for Hoptown Hoppers. He lasted four innings, allowing two hits and three runs while striking out seven. Will Nash and Brennan Crooms entered the game out of the bullpen and helped to close out the game in relief.

Jon Cato took the loss for Henderson Flash. He lasted two-thirds of an inning, allowing three hits and six runs.

Hoptown Hoppers launched one home run on the day. Chandler Kendall went for the long ball in the fourth inning.

Hoptown Hoppers totaled 14 hits. Bennett, Drew McGowan, Wyatt Stevenson, Kendall, and Crooms each had multiple hits for Hoptown Hoppers. Bennett led Hoptown Hoppers with three hits in four at bats.
