The Paducah Chiefs top the Owensboro Oilers 14-3

The Owensboro Oilers lost game 2 of their opening round best-of-three series facing the Paducah Chiefs in Owensboro on Saturday night. The loss drops the Oilers to even in the round -- one game apiece -- and sets up an elimination game in Paducah on Sunday.

Game 2 itself started out as a tense back-and-forth affair. The Chiefs jumped out to the lead with two runs in the top of the 1st inning. Ithe Oilers tied with two runs in the bottom of the 2nd inning, then briefly led with a run in the bottom of the 3rd inning. Paducah answered with 2 runs in the top of the 4th inning, and never trailed from that point.
