​Two Pitchers Team Up As Muhlenberg County Stallions Defeats Franklin Duelers In Shut-Out

Muhlenberg County Stallions defeated Franklin Duelers 11-0 on Sunday as two pitchers combined to throw a shutout. Tyler Yotkewich struck out Marcos Hernandez to finish off the game.

Muhlenberg County Stallions got on the board in the first inning when Adrian Minjares singled on a 1-2 count, scoring one run.

Muhlenberg County Stallions scored three runs in the eighth inning. Luke Price had an RBI home run in the inning to lead the run scoring.

One bright spot for Franklin Duelers was a single by Trejen Birdwell in the fourth inning.

Christian Williams took the win for Muhlenberg County Stallions. He went six innings, allowing zero runs on three hits and striking out nine. Yotkewich threw two innings in relief out of the bullpen.

Brant Alazaus took the loss for Franklin Duelers. He lasted five innings, allowing eight hits and six runs while striking out seven.

Muhlenberg County Stallions smacked two home runs on the day. Tucker Jordan had a four bagger in the fifth inning. Price went for the long ball in the eighth inning. Muhlenberg County Stallions totaled 11 hits. Minjares and Jackson Little all managed multiple hits for Muhlenberg County Stallions. Little and Minjares all had two hits to lead Muhlenberg County Stallions.

Muhlenberg County Stallions was sure-handed and didn't commit a single error. Tad Marks made the most plays with eight.
Franklin Duelers didn't commit a single error in the field. Hernandez had the most chances in the field with 12.
