The Bombers put another crooked number on the board in the 8th inning extending their lead to 7-2. A leadoff walk followed by an error by Nolen Milton put the first two batters on base. A base hit by Roman Trujillo would then load the bases. Two fielder’s choice ground ball RBI’s by Krizan and Mercier would drive in the two runs for the Bombers.

Hoptown cut the lead to four with a single run in the bottom of the 8th inning. Duvall started off the inning with a base hit up the middle and advanced to 2nd base on a walk. A well-placed fly ball to shallow center field by Milton would then drive in Duvall.

Unfortunately for the Hoppers, Dubois added 5 more runs in the top of the 9th inning sealing the game for the Bombers. Jordan Libman started the inning with a base hit and advanced to 2nd base on a stolen base. Shepherd then walked and Alex Alders drove in Libman.
