Dubois County Bombers Grabs Lead In Eighth Inning For Victory Over Franklin Duelers

Dubois County Bombers stole the lead late in the game in a 4-2 victory over Franklin Duelers on Wednesday. The game was tied at two with Dubois County Bombers batting in the bottom of the eighth when Matt Ellis singled on a 3-2 count, scoring one run.

Devin Morris was credited with the victory for Dubois County Bombers. He went one and two-thirds innings, allowing zero runs on one hit, striking out four and walking one. Brennan LaBarbera threw three and a third innings in relief out of the bullpen.

Mickey Foytik took the loss for Franklin Duelers. He lasted one-third of an inning, allowing two hits and two runs while striking out one.

Cal Krueger started the game for Dubois County Bombers. He went four innings, allowing one run on three hits and striking out seven Kyle Nunn started the game for Franklin Duelers. He surrendered two runs on four hits over five and a third innings, striking out two.

Austin Duffy, Evan Kahre, Tyler Best, Tucker Schank, Ellis, Tyler Van Pelt, and Benji Brokemond each collected one hit to lead Dubois County Bombers.
