Dubois County Bombers Slides Into A Blow-Out Win Over Owensboro RiverDawgs

Dubois County Bombers sailed to an easy victory over Owensboro RiverDawgs 14-4 on Saturday.

In the first inning, Dubois County Bombers got their offense started when Matt Ellis grounded out, scoring one run.
Dubois County Bombers pulled away for good with six runs in the third inning. In the third Bryson McNay singled on a 1-0 count, scoring one run, Marcus Hill drew a walk, scoring one run, Benji Brokemond drew a walk, scoring one run, and Chase Hug singled on a 2-2 count, scoring two runs.

Dubois County Bombers scored six runs in the fourth inning. The offensive firepower by Dubois County Bombers was led by Matt Joslin, Hill, Brokemond, and Hug, all knocking in runs in the inning.

Chase Rudy was credited with the victory for Dubois County Bombers. He went two innings, allowing zero runs on two hits, striking out two and walking zero. Alex Franklin threw one inning in relief out of the bullpen.

Brice Stuteville took the loss for Owensboro RiverDawgs. He lasted two and two-thirds innings, allowing six hits and five runs.
Samuel Steimel started the game for Dubois County Bombers. He surrendered four runs on five hits over four innings, striking out four.

Dubois County Bombers collected ten hits on the day. Tyler Best, Zuriel Collins, and Hug all collected multiple hits for Dubois County Bombers. Hug, Collins, and Best each managed two hits to lead Dubois County Bombers.
