Dubois County Bombers Takes Early Lead In Victory Over Henderson Flash

Dubois County Bombers grabbed an early lead on its way to a 12-3 victory over Henderson Flash on Tuesday. Dubois County Bombers scored on a double by Easton Stewart, a single by Benji Brokemond, and a sacrifice fly by Chase Hug in the second inning.

Dubois County Bombers pulled away for good with four runs in the second inning. In the second Stewart doubled on a 3-1 count, scoring one run, Brokemond singled on a 0-1 count, scoring one run, and Hug's sac fly scored one run for Dubois County Bombers.

Alex Franklin was the winning pitcher for Dubois County Bombers. He allowed one hit and zero runs over three innings, striking out four. Devin Morris and Benton McGill entered the game out of the bullpen and helped to close out the game in relief.

Logan Gray took the loss for Henderson Flash. He lasted three and two-thirds innings, allowing four hits and seven runs while striking out two.

Reece Kleinhelter started the game for Dubois County Bombers. He went four innings, allowing three runs on seven hits, striking out four and walking one.

Dubois County Bombers launched one home run on the day. Hug went deep in the sixth inning. Hug led Dubois County Bombers with two hits in three at bats. Dubois County Bombers didn't commit a single error in the field. Matt Ellis had the most chances in the field with 11. Dubois County Bombers stole seven bases during the game as two players stole more than one. Brokemond led the way with two.

Henderson Flash totaled nine hits in the game. Josh Johnston and Charlie Mooneyham each collected multiple hits for Henderson Flash.
