Five RBI Day For Ben Teel Brings In Win For Madisonville Miners Over Muhlenberg County Stallions

Ben Teel was bad news for opposing pitchers on Friday, driving in five on three hits to lead Madisonville Miners past Muhlenberg County Stallions 10-4 on Friday. Teel drove in runs on a single in the first and a grand slam in the second.

Madisonville Miners earned the victory despite allowing Muhlenberg County Stallions to score four runs in the third inning.

Muhlenberg County Stallions's big inning was driven by a single by Will Myers, a groundout by Anthony Hennings, an error on a ball put in play by Luke Kuester, and a double by Reece Puckett.

Madisonville Miners got things started in the first inning when Teel singled on a 1-0 count, scoring one run.

Madisonville Miners scored six runs in the second inning. Madisonville Miners big bats were led by Charlie Szykowny, Colton Olasin, and Teel, who each had RBIs in the inning.
