Franklin Duelers Blows Out Muhlenberg County Stallions


Franklin Duelers won big over Muhlenberg County Stallions 13-5 on Tuesday.

Franklin Duelers fired up the offense in the first inning, when Travis Faix homered on a 1-0 count, scoring three runs.

Franklin Duelers notched six runs in the eighth inning. Franklin Duelers batters contributing to the big inning included James Marcinkowski, John Benevolent, Trejen Birdwell, Sean Becker, and Ethan Shelton, all driving in runs in the frame.

Kyle Nunn toed the rubber for Franklin Duelers. He went five innings, allowing one run on one hit and striking out six.
Nick Ramanjula was on the pitcher's mound for Muhlenberg County Stallions. He lasted one and one-third innings, allowing two hits and six runs while striking out two. Nate Cunningham, Nick Casey, and Blake Shelton each contributed in relief for Muhlenberg County Stallions.

Franklin Duelers launched one home run on the day. Faix had a homer in the first inning.

Franklin Duelers racked up ten hits on the day. Marcinkowski and Tyler Estes each managed multiple hits for Franklin Duelers. Marcinkowski went 3-for-5 at the plate to lead Franklin Duelers in hits.

Julian Sansores led Muhlenberg County Stallions with two hits in three at bats.
