​Fulton Railroaders Clinches Lead In Seventh Inning For Victory Over Paducah Chiefs


Fulton Railroaders stole the lead late and defeated Paducah Chiefs 6-4 on Wednesday. Fulton Railroaders trailed 3-2 in the bottom of the seventh inning when O’Neil Burgos doubled on a 3-1 count, scoring two runs.

Paducah Chiefs opened up scoring in the first inning. Bryson Bloomer hit a solo homer.

Ryan Middleton got the win for Fulton Railroaders. He went one inning, allowing one run on three hits and walking one. Ben Kowalski threw two innings in relief out of the bullpen. Kowalski recorded the last six outs to earn the save for Fulton Railroaders.

Mitch Turner took the loss for Paducah Chiefs. He went one-third of an inning, allowing four runs on two hits.

Tanner Stinnett started the game for Fulton Railroaders. He allowed six hits and two runs over six innings, striking out 11 Jordan Fowler started the game for Paducah Chiefs. He went four innings, allowing zero runs on zero hits, striking out seven and walking zero.

Paducah Chiefs hit three home runs on the day. Pierce Mitchum went yard in the fifth inning. Lofton Pigg had a four bagger in the ninth inning. Bloomer put one out in the first inning.

Davis Lott, Burgos, Britt Netterville, Ty Wooton, Reid Rector, Garrett Guymon, and Nathan Bynum all had one hit to lead Fulton Railroaders.

Paducah Chiefs totaled ten hits in the game. Bloomer, Pigg, and Alan Roden all managed multiple hits for Paducah Chiefs. Bloomer went 3-for-5 at the plate to lead Paducah Chiefs in hits.
