Madisonville Miners Captures Lead Early To Defeat Dubois County Bombers

Dubois County Bombers watched the game slip away early and couldn't recover in a 3-0 loss to Madisonville Miners on Thursday.

The pitching was strong on both sides. Madisonville Miners pitchers struck out five, while Dubois County Bombers sat down two.

Madisonville Miners got things moving in the second inning, when Colton Olasin grounded out, scoring one run.
One bright spot for Dubois County Bombers was a double by Tyler Best in the first inning.

Ryan Pierce was the winning pitcher for Madisonville Miners. He surrendered zero runs on two hits over six innings, striking out four and walking zero. Mason Libla threw one inning in relief out of the bullpen. Libla recorded the last three outs to earn the save for Madisonville Miners.
