Owensboro RiverDawgs Claims Lead In Seventh Inning To Defeat Muhlenberg County Stallions


Owensboro RiverDawgs snatched the lead late in the game in a 4-3 victory over Muhlenberg County Stallions on Sunday. The game was tied at three with Owensboro RiverDawgs batting in the bottom of the seventh when an error scored one run for Owensboro RiverDawgs.

In the first inning, Muhlenberg County Stallions got their offense started. Adrian Minjares grounded out into a double play but still was able to knock in one run.

Muhlenberg County Stallions knotted the game up at three in the top of the sixth inning. Tucker Jordan drove in two when he singled.

Bo Robison earned the victory on the hill for Owensboro RiverDawgs. He surrendered zero runs on one hit over two and a third innings, striking out one and walking one. Drake Hamil threw one and two-thirds innings in relief out of the bullpen. Hamil recorded the last five outs to earn the save for Owensboro RiverDawgs.

Reece Puckett took the loss for Muhlenberg County Stallions. He surrendered one run on three hits over three innings, striking out three and walking one.

Parker Newby started the game for Owensboro RiverDawgs. He allowed seven hits and three runs over five innings, striking out six Nick Ramanjula started the game for Muhlenberg County Stallions. He went five innings, allowing three runs on five hits and striking out six.

Owensboro RiverDawgs collected eight hits on the day. Parker Stahlman, Josh Bennett, and Kyle Hogwood each collected multiple hits for Owensboro RiverDawgs. Hogwood, Bennett, and Stahlman each managed two hits to lead Owensboro RiverDawgs.

Muhlenberg County Stallions tallied eight hits on the day. Minjares and Jake Edwards all managed multiple hits for Muhlenberg County Stallions.
