Paducah Chiefs Can't Quit Erase 6-Run Deficit In Loss To Muhlenberg County Stallions

Paducah Chiefs fought back after falling down by six runs in the third inning. The comeback fell just short though, in a 9-8 defeat to Muhlenberg County Stallions on Thursday. Paducah Chiefs scored seven runs in the failed comeback on a sacrifice fly by Carson Shacklett in the fourth, a single by Jacob Hartline in the fourth, a single by John Michael Russ in the fifth, a error in the fifth, a home run by Reid Pope in the eighth, and a double by Alan Roden in the eighth.

Paducah Chiefs was right in it until Muhlenberg County Stallions doubled in the sixth inning.
