Rodriguez Drives In Four, But Madisonville Miners Falls To Paducah Chiefs

Madisonville Miners fell 11-6 to Paducah Chiefs on Thursday despite four RBIs from Alex Rodriguez. Rodriguez drove in runs on a home run in the first and a home run in the third.

Madisonville Miners collected ten hits and Paducah Chiefs had 12 in the high-scoring affair.

In the first inning, Madisonville Miners got their offense started. Rodriguez drove in two when he homered.
Paducah Chiefs pulled away for good with four runs in the fifth inning. In the fifth Alan Roden singled on a 1-0 count, scoring one run, Nick Rucker drew a walk, scoring one run, Shea Estrin drew a walk, scoring one run, and Jackson Fitzgerald drew a walk, scoring one run.

Palmer Campbell took the win for Paducah Chiefs. He lasted three and a third innings, allowing two hits and one run while striking out one. Brady Austin threw one inning in relief out of the bullpen.

Zack Toth took the loss for Madisonville Miners. He allowed six hits and five runs over four and a third innings, striking out five and walking one.

Brady Bibbs started the game for Paducah Chiefs. He went four and two-thirds innings, allowing four runs on six hits and striking out one

Madisonville Miners socked two home run on the day. Rodriguez had a homer in the first and third innings. Madisonville Miners totaled ten hits in the game. Colton Olasin, Ben Teel, and Rodriguez all managed multiple hits for Madisonville Miners. Rodriguez, Teel, and Olasin all had two hits to lead Madisonville Miners.

Paducah Chiefs collected 12 hits on the day. Roden, Lofton Pigg, Estrin, and Bryson Bloomer each managed multiple hits for Paducah Chiefs. Roden led Paducah Chiefs with four hits in five at bats.
