Runs Keep Coming As the Dubois County Bombers Defeats the Paducah Chiefs, 8-2


The Dubois County Bombers defeated the Paducah Chiefs 8-2 by consistently putting runs on the scoreboard on Tuesday.

Chance Hitchcock earned the win for Dubois County. He threw six and two-thirds innings, giving up zero runs, five hits, and striking out one. Three relievers helped the Bombers close out the victory. Willie Poe threw one inning. Blake Clynes took the loss for the Chiefs. He tossed six innings, giving up five runs, nine hits, striking out three, and walking one.

The Bombers had 12 hits in the game. Jordan Libman, Philip Archer, Jordan Cozart, Bryce Krizan, and Brandon Smith each collected multiple hits for Dubois County. Smith, Krizan, Cozart, Archer, and Libman each managed two hits to lead the Bombers.

Nick Shumaker led Paducah with one run batted in. He went 1-for-4 on the day.

On Friday Night, the Dubois County Bombers host the Muhlenberg County Stallions and the ZOOperstars are in town. Game starts at 7:05 PM EST.
