Hoppers 10, Railroaders 5. (June 22, 2017) The Hoppers powered past the home team Railroaders and handed Fulton their fourth straight loss. Both teams
had 7 hits each and left 12 runners each on base. The Railroaders committed 4 errors in the game while the Hoppers had 2 errors. Hoptown had 5 earned
runs and were handed 5 unearned runs by Fulton
Reese Alexiades lead the Hoppers at the plate going 5 for 6 with 5 RBI that included a double, and a 3 RBI homerun. The Railroaders' only highlight
at the plate was a solo homerun by Hunter Higdon.
Hoptown starter Luke Brown threw a strong game for 5 innings earning the win as the pitcher of record when the Hoppers took the lead in the top of
the 6th inning. Reliever Jesse Philp earned a save for 4 innings to finish the game.
The loss goes to Fulton's reliever William Sweewer who gave up the go ahead run in the 6th inning.
