The Owensboro Oilers fall to the Dubois County Bombers 13-1


The Owensboro Oilers became the first OVL team to complete the 40 game 2017 regular season Tuesday night, but lost to the returning Dubois County Bombers. The final score was Bombers 13 to Oilers 1. The Bombers pitchers combined to limit the Oilers batters to a single hit. Owensboro's only run came by way of a bases loaded walk in the bottom of the 3rd inning.

Niko Jenkins had the one Owensboro hit, and Tanner Kehrer had the RBI walk.

Dubois County was paced by Alex Alders (2 for 3 with 2 home runs and 5 RBIs) along with Roman Trujillo (2 for 4 with a home run and 3 RBIs)
