The Railroaders defeat the Bombers 4-1 in the second game of the DH


Railroaders 4, Bombers 1 - game 2. (July 13, 2017) In 7 innings. Game Two: The Railroaders total 8 hits with no errors in night cap. The Bombers got 6 hits and also played an error free game.

The Railroaders scored first in the 1st inning. Andrew Rapoza singled to drive in 2 RBI to give Fulton an early lead.
Bottom of the 3rd inning, Zell Walker hit a solo homerun, his 9th on the year, to make it a 3-0 score. In the 5th inning, Fulton's Will Acuff singled in another RBI to give Fulton a 4-0 lead.

The Bombers finally managed to get on the board in the 7th inning scoring their only run with a RBI ground out by Craig Shepherd.

Fulton's newly acquired starter Tyler Vaughn threw for 5 innings allowing 5 hits, no runs, one walk and had 5 strikeouts, he earned the win. Jackson South completed the final 2 innings allowing 3 hits, one earned run, no walks and 3 strikeouts.

Dubois starter Logan Moseley takes the loss for 3 2/3 innings giving up 6 hits, 3 earned runs, 3 walks, and 5 strikeouts. David Ellis and Tyler Stolz combined to finish the final 2 1/3 innings.
