Van Pelt Delivers Four Hits To Dubois County Bombers Victory Over Owensboro RiverDawgs

Four hits from Tyler Van Pelt helped lead Dubois County Bombers past Owensboro RiverDawgs 14-4 on Saturday. Van Pelt singled in the first, homered in the second, singled in the sixth, and doubled in the eighth.

Dubois County Bombers earned the victory despite allowing Owensboro RiverDawgs to score three runs in the fourth inning. The offensive onslaught by Owensboro RiverDawgs was led by Josh Bennett and Michael Wymann, all driving in runs in the inning.

Dubois County Bombers got things moving in the second inning, when an error scored two runs for Dubois County Bombers.
Reece Kleinhelter got the win for Dubois County Bombers. He surrendered four runs on six hits over five and two-thirds innings, striking out four. Patrick Queener threw two and a third innings in relief out of the bullpen.

Grant Smith took the loss for Owensboro RiverDawgs. He lasted four innings, allowing seven hits and seven runs while striking out two.
