A lengthy delay Tuesday due to severe lightning and wind turned into another postponement due to Mother Nature. There have been numerous rainouts and rescheduled dates already this summer, but on Tuesday night, the game with Owensboro had already gotten under way when it was called due to the elements.  The Oilers left town around 9:30 p.m. with a 5-3 lead in the bottom of the fourth. The game had paused with the tying run at the plate for the Bobcats, but before play could resume, the skies opened up and heavy rains left the field unplayable for the night.
