The Tradewater Pirates won in 10 innings, as Owensboro walked in the winning run with the bases loaded, giving the Bucs a 9-8 victory, in a game that saw a little bit of everything.  Pirate hurler George Kalousek provided a gritty performance in relief of middle man Nick McCowin, and starter Logan Thomas saw his mates battle throughout the contest, from down in the count, and down on the mat, numerous times.  Both squads had their chances to win, but some sparkling defense ended several rallies, and poor defense extended several innings.  All in all, the Pirates and Oilers would probably rate their performances about an overall C+, but the Pirates found themselves on the winning end of things when the last shot was fired.
