The Owensboro Oilers defeated the Fulton Railroaders, 12-2

In Game 2 The Oilers scored one run in each of the first four innings before lighting up the scoreboard for eight runs in the bottom of the 5th inning. The Railroader offense was limited to one run each in the tops of the 4th and 7th innings. In the bottom of the 1st inning. Ryan Stephens singled, stole second base, and came the rest of the way around on wild pitches. In the bottom of the second Luis Mila singled and eventually scored on a RBI single by Kyler Mason. In the bottom of the 3rd inning Mila doubled and Eric Barnes RBI singled. Fulton made it 3-1 wit one run in the top of the 4th inning. Brock Downey and Joe Mike singled back-to-back. Connor Tracey reached on an error that allowed Downey to score from second base. One strikeout later, Mike Pudlo walked -- but Mikee Moore grounded into a double play to end the threat. Owensboro got that one run back in the bottom of the 4th inning. Mason followed a familiar lead off pattern for the Oilers -- singled, stole second base, moved to third on a wild pitch. He scored with two outs on a RBI single by Jordan Cessna. The Oilers had their biggest inning yet this season by scoring 8 runs in the bottom of the 5th inning. The frame started with Bo Younker being hit by a pitch. He stole second base, moved to third base on a groundout, and scored on a high RBI single to center field by Barnes. With two outs, a walk and a pair of wild pitches scored Barnes and positioned Mason on third base. Jesse Moralez and Stephens also followed with walks to load the bases. Cessna knocked in Mason with another RBI single -- keeping the bases loaded. Ty Stetson RBI walked to bring in Moralez, bases still jammed. Younker returned to the plate in the half-inning he led off and launched a pitch over the center field wall for a grand slam home run. At the end of the 5th inning, Owensboro led Fulton 12-1. The Railroaders picked up one more run in the top of the 7th inning. Mike Pudlo scored on a two-out bases loaded RBI walk to Brock Downey. A strikeout finalized the Oilers win at 12-2. Owensboro starter Myles Scott went the distance for the win. Fulton starter Roman Kelly took the loss.
