The Fulton Railroaders defeated the Tradewater Pirates, 7-0

The Railroader's got their record above .500 for the first time this season by shutting out the Pirates in Tradewater.  The game remained scoreless through the first 4 innings of play.  In the top of the 5th, David Simmons lead off with a triple and score on an Alex Azeredo ground out to give Fulton a 1-0 lead.  The Railroaders added 2 more runs in the 7th after Tyler O'Daniel reached on a single, advance to 2nd on a wild pitch and score from a RBI single from Azeredo who then scored on a Mikee Moore RBI single.  Still in the top of the 7th, Fulton loaded the bases with 2 outs when Rob Hogenkamp reached on a throwing error resulting in an additional 2 runs across the plate to make the score to 5-0.  The Railroaders added another run in the 8th with O'Daniel scoring from 3rd on a passed ball, and in the top of the 9th Fulton capped off their score with a run by Hogenkamp from an O'Daniel RBI single.  Taylor Reilly earns the win for Fulton pitching 7 complete innings with Jimmy Ryan and Tate Glasscock each throwing an inning each to close out the game.  Kyle Thomas takes the loss for Tradewater also going for 7 innings.  The Railroaders return home on Thursday to face off with league leading Marion Bobcats.  The Pirates travel to Owensboro to play against the Oilers.
