The Bobcats lost their third straight game on Friday as they were shutout in Marion by the Pirates.  Tradewater's' 9 runs came on 11 hits with 4 Pirates having multiple hits, and were lead by J.B. Sapienza going 2 of 2, scoring 3 and 3 RBIs, which included a 2 RBI homerun.  Bobcat Cody Schmitt topped the plate for Marion hitting 2 of 3 on the night.  Taking the win for Tradewater, Kyle Thomas pitched for 7 innings striking out 8, allowing 4 hits and walking 2.  Garret Hunt is tagged for the loss on the mound for 5 2/3 innings with 7 earned runs against him, 2 walks and 3 strikeouts.  The teams meet again tomorrow, in Tradewater, for the second of a 2 game series.
