In 7 innings. The Owensboro Oilers split their make-up date doubleheader with the visiting Marion Bobcats. Ryan Stephens followed with a 2-RBI double to account for the scoring. Owensboro added the third run in the bottom of the 5th inning. Dalton Lykins walked to start off. Hargrove sacrifice bunted Lykins over to second base. Luis Mila singled to put runners at the corners. Stetson's fielder's choice to the right side batted in Lykins. That was all Oilers pitching needed in Game 1. Starter Tim Steed worked six shutout innings, for the win and Austin Clay earned a save, holding down a scoreless top of the 7th inning.
