In 7 innings.  In the second game, the Pirates won 3-2, dropping the Bobcats into third place for the first time this year and only a half-game out of the basement. Marion (17-18) also dropped below .500 in league play for the first time.  The stellar pitching of Logan Thomas, along with some gritty defense and clutch hitting, put a second "L" on Marion.  Some heads up base-running by Eric Herman also helped out the Mates
