The Hoppers came from behind to beat the Oilers in Hoptown and retrained their second place standing a half game back of the Bobcats. The Oilers took a 1-0 lead in the top of the 2nd inning. The Hoppers jumped ahead in the bottom of the 2nd scoring 2 runs from an Oiler error and a balk. Owensboro regained a 3-2 lead in the 7th scoring 2 on two Hopper errors and a sacrifice fly. Bottom of the 8th, the Hoppers blasted out 5 hits to produce 7 more runs that included two 2 RBI doubles from Brett Pirtle and Cameron Olsen, and a Kaleb Brown 1 RBI double.  Will Hammock gets the win for Hoptown in relief, and Colton Slank the loss for Owensboro.
