The Marion Bobcats defeated the Fulton Railroaders, 10-8

The Bobcats maintain their half game lead in the standings with another win over the Railroaders in Fulton. Tied at 2 each after 5 innings, the Bobcats shot forward scoring 6 runs in the top of the 6th with 5 hits including a 2 RBI homerun from Clint Ambrosch. The Cats added 2 more in the 8th bringing the score to 10-2. The Railroaders made a valiant comeback attempt in the bottom of the 9th with 2 outs, punching out 6 runs that included a grand slam homer from Alex Huddleston, but fell short with the tying run at plate striking out. Marion starter and winner Chris Hunt threw for 6 innings striking out 9, giving up only 4 hits and walking 3 men. Taking his second loss on the season and to the Bobcats, Christopher Flores went 5 1/3 innings striking out 3, walking 5, and allowing 5 earned runs.
