The Owensboro Oilers defeated the Madisonville Pirates, 12-2
Tradewater lost their fifth game in nine tries, as six Pirates pitchers barely slowed down the Owensboro offensive express, and the Oilers broke a six game losing streak with the victory. The Pirates led early, 2-0, but the floodgates opened thereafter, and the Oilers used effective starting pitching from Patrick Knight, the game winner, and relief help from Colton Slank, to slay the home team. Logan Leverett provided the only offensive help for the Buccos, with 2 RBI's. The Pirates saw the Oilers put up innings of 2, 4, 1 and 5, to put the game out of reach by the 8th. Tradewater was out hit 17-5 in the blowout win for Owensboro.
