The Madisonville Pirates defeated the Marion Bobcats, 6-4
In the second game of the twin bill, the Pirates came back to split the evening with a 6-4 victory. The Bobcats took an early 3-0 lead in the 1st inning. The Pirates took over the lead in the 3rd putting up 4 runs. Each team scored one run in both frames of the 5th inning and Tradewater capped off the game in the final 7th inning with another run to finish off the Bobcats. Cody Hyden led the Pirates going 3 of 4 with 2 RBI's, and Greg Liming for the Bobcats was 2 of 4 with one RBI. Corey Ames picked up the win in relief pitching the final 2 innings. Marion starter Michael Purcell went only 4 2/3 innings striking out 8, walking 4 but did not complete a full 5 innings to qualify for the victory. Bobcats' starter Caleb Luttrell takes the loss pitching for 5 innings giving up 6 of the 7 Tradewater hits.
